You can book a ‘Learn TRE’ session if you are a complete beginner, or a ‘Refresher’ session if you have already learnt TRE and would like to deepen your home practice.
IMPORTANT NOTE: New clients will need to complete a short health questionnaire to ensure it is safe for them to learn TRE online. Online sessions are not suitable for people with major medical or mental health conditions, or a history of complex or severe trauma.

TRE for Beginners
I can teach you everything you need to get started with this amazing technique in one 90-minute session, with shorter follow up sessions to cement your learning.
First appointment (90 mins): £70 in the clinic / £60 over Skype
Follow up appointment (60 mins): £50 in the clinic / £40 over Skype

What should I wear?
Please wear comfortable, non restrictive clothing such as loose trousers, leggings or jogging bottoms.
What happens during an appointment?
We’ll start with a chat about your health and wellbeing and what you would like to get from the session. I’ll explain what TRE is and how it works, and then I’ll guide you through a series of exercises which will gently stretch and tire your muscles. The final exercise involves lying down with the soles of your feet together in order to start the tremoring mechanism. This is where the magic happens! We’ll spend some time noticing the different reactions in your body, and we’ll practise stopping and starting the tremors. Finally, we’ll finish with a period of relaxation in order for your body to integrate the effects of the session.
What will I feel?
You might experience a mixture of things, from small vibrations and tremors to larger movements and ‘stretches’. You might also feel sensations such as heat or tingling. Most people find TRE to be relaxing and pleasurable (some even feel an urge to laugh or giggle!).
What benefits can I expect?
TRE is more than a simple stress-relief technique. It wakes up parts of the body which are constricted or numb, leading us to literally feel more ‘whole’. It also switches on our “social engagement system” (ventral vagus nerve), which leads to less social anxiety and better relationships.

Follow up sessions
Once you start practising TRE at home regularly you might notice that your practice goes through peaks and troughs and/or that your tremoring gets ‘stuck’ in a certain pattern. During a follow up session I can see how your tremors are developing, answer any questions you might have, discuss which shaking ‘dose’ is right for you, and show you how to invite the tremors into different parts of the body.
