I went into Waterstones last week and fell in love.
The object of my affection was a picture book called Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
Things hadn’t been going well with J and I was feeling rather forlorn to put it mildly (OK, I was moping about thinking I would never find true love).
I read the whole book, standing in the shop, and wanted to cry. (If you read it, and you’ve been looking for love, you’ll know why.)
What’s the story about? Rachel says;
“It’s a about an epic search. Perhaps the biggest one any of us will ever make. The search for love.

Ahhh…there are some books you just have to have. This was one of them.
