Blazing a trail in 2015

2014 is ending in a seriously sparkly way…

Oh Sugar! has already been reprinted. And it has been as high as 13,000 in the Amazon bestsellers rank, which is pretty good going considering there are millions of books on Amazon and the publication date for my book is tomorrow!

(If you’re confused by this, as I was initially, it’s because Amazon releases stock as soon as it receives it, which means many books are available online before you can get your mitts on a copy in a shop.)

A MASSIVE thank you for being here with me and for all your support this year. Three years on from starting my blog, every single ‘like’ and comment still genuinely makes my day :-)

This time next year I hope to be sharing the news that my children’s book has been snapped up by a publisher. Though someone annoying once told me that ‘hope is not a strategy’ so I had better say I WILL be sharing this news next year!

In the meantime, I’m going to end the year with one of my favourite inspirational quotes:

“I would rather be ashes than dust. I would rather that my spark would burn out in a brilliant blaze than be stifled by dry-rot. I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet.”

~ Jack LondonJack London

Here’s to us all being meteors in 2015!
